Class Descriptions

”True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; yoga cares about the person you are becoming. Yoga is designed for a vast and profound purpose, and for it to be truly called yoga, its essence must be embodied.” – Aadil Palkhivala

All Levels

Beginners Yoga

Candlelight Flow

Candlelight Flow will guide you through a strong asana sequence aimed at improving strength and flexibility while decreasing stress and uncluttering the mind.

The soft glow of candlelight guides your focus inward bringing a deeper awareness of the sensations within the body and the mind. In this busy world of constant outer stimulation, the quiet light invites you to rely less on what you see and more on what you hear as your internal gaze listens to your body. Let your intuition guide you as you flow with grace through asana - strength, balance and flexibility.

Serene & Supported Yoga

In this class, we utilize yoga props such as blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, chairs, and the wall to help guide our bodies safely and comfortably into and out of yoga postures. Props help to make the practice of Yoga postures accessible for most bodies.

This class is not only suitable for those brand new to yoga but for seasoned practitioners as well! Come enjoy the experience of how yoga props can help enhance and deepen your practice.

Slow Flow

Slow Flow classes are a combination of Vinyasa Flow and Hatha yoga, with fewer transitions than Vinyasa yoga and more flow than Hatha yoga. Slow Flow classes help you find the space between poses while still retaining the gentle rhythm of a flow yoga class.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is one of the most popular styles of Yoga practiced in the west. In this class you will be guided through elegant flows that are meant to nurture the feminine and masculine energy in the body through strengthening and stretching in an atmosphere in which you are free to practice intuitively.

In Sanskrit vinyasa means “to place in a special way,” and is characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath.

This class often ends with either a guided meditation, mantra singing or sound immersion.

Open to all levels of practice, beginners to experienced.

Vin-Yin (Slow Flow Yoga)

Vin-Yin Yoga is a slow flow yoga sequence that combines a gentle Vinyasa Flow with Yin Yoga asanas (postures). The Vinyasa portion of this class warms up the body while riding it of excess Prana or energy. After this your body is ready to relax and lengthen during the Yin Yoga portion. It is a great combination to bring overall balance to the body and it's systems.

Yin Yoga

While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

Suitable for all experience levels.
