Commonly Asked Questions
I am brand new to yoga, what classes are best for me?
As a new student, you are welcome to attend any class on our schedule! Our instructors teach classes that are accessible to all levels. We encourage you to come to class with an open mind and willing spirit.
Do I need to make an appointment or sign up ahead of time?
Since we keep our class sizes small, we do require pre-registration to attend scheduled classes. We would hate for you to drive all the way to the studio to find out there is no space left. At this time, walk-ins will not be permitted to attend class.
How early do I need to be at the studio before class begins?
Please arrive 5-15 minutes before the start of class to allow yourself time to set up and settle in. Our doors open 15 minutes before the start of each class. Doors will be locked when class begins.
Where can I leave my belongings?
We have cubbies outside the yoga room for your things. Please no shoes, cell phones, or personal belongings inside the yoga room.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear clothing that you can easily move around in without restriction of movement. No special yoga clothes are needed so please wear what you feel most comfortable in.
What do I need to bring?
Yoga Mat (if you have your own)
Yoga Props (if you have your own)
We do offer yoga mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters in studio if you do not have your own. Please use our sanitizing spray and wipes to clean off any props that you use.
I have a pre-existing injury/illness/condition. Is it safe for me to practice yoga?
Always check with your physician to see if strenuous movement is okay for your body.
