Evergreen Holistic offers a wide variety of yoga classes such as Beginner's, Gentle, All Levels, Yoga for Healthy Aging, Yin, Restorative, Hatha and Flow. Our weekly class schedule includes 15+ classes offered mornings and evenings with many of the best instructors in our area, bringing a rich and unique experience to your personal yoga journey.

All Levels

Come as you are! No flexibility required! All Levels yoga is suitable for beginners, experienced and everyone in between. This class offers modifications so that you can customize your class to fit your specific needs and level of expertise.

Beginner's Yoga

This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. Class is slower paced than an all-levels class, and focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. All bodies are welcome.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga brings the best of a yoga practice to those who require or prefer the support of a chair. Students will explore versions of twists, hip stretches, forward bends and mild backbends. The class helps participants stay healthy, vibrant and confident by focusing on developing small and large muscle groups, stretching, balancing [beside or behind the chair] and strength building. Chair yoga classes help maintain mobility, improve flexibility, cultivate mindfulness and increase body awareness.

Gentle Yoga

This class combines gentle movement to lengthen and strengthen muscles, Yin postures for healthy joints and ligaments, and/or restorative postures to help bring the body into rest and digest, regulating the parasympathetic nervous system while bringing an overall feeling of relaxation to the mind and body. 

Gentle Hatha

Gentle Hatha was created to be accessible to all types of students, and to support their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. This class seeks to provide modifications to common yoga poses. This form of yoga helps increase mobility and flexibility in a slow well rounded approach.

Intermediate Hatha

Intermediate Hatha is fun class for body and mind, intended to further develop one’s inner strength by using the breath and movement. Some challenging poses will be introduced in the class, along with yoga philosophy to understand the deeper meanings of the poses. This class is for students seeking a challenge.

Restorative

Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow, still style of yoga that involves long, passive holds in a series of 4-6 restful poses using props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks and more. Most restorative yoga classes include a combination of therapeutic elements like essential oils, touch assistance, guided meditation and soothing music. Restorative yoga helps balance the mind and body, relieve tension and anxiety, improve the immune system, stretch deep fascia, increase flexibility and pave the way for meditation.

Slow Flow

Slow Flow classes are a combination of Vinyasa Flow and Hatha yoga, with fewer transitions than Vinyasa yoga and more flow than Hatha yoga. Slow Flow classes help you find the space between poses while still retaining the gentle rhythm of a flow yoga class.

Yin Yoga

While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

Yoga for Healthy Aging

Yoga for Healthy Aging is based on the teachings of Baxter Bell and focuses on strength, flexibility, balance, agility, cardiovascular health, brain health, stress management, and more to foster physical, mental and emotional health specifically for aging.  

Suitable for all experience levels.

Yoga for Veterans

A free weekly yoga class for active, inactive and retired military, their family and/or caretakers.

This yoga class focuses on learning skills proven to help you connect to the present – leaving anxiety behind while learning to feel safe and in control. All military personnel, family and caretakers’ welcome!! 

Suitable for All Levels. No experience or flexibility required.
