MEET THE FOUNDERS
Matt Loflin, LMT, CNMT
Lic # MA85888
Matt Loflin was born in Austin Texas and moved to Florida in 2016 to pursue a career in holistic healing.
After first exploring shamanic arts Matt focused his studies on the hands free energy work of Pranic healing. He has since completed training in Basic Pranic Healing, Advanced Pranic healing, Pranic Psychotherapy, Crystal healing, and is currently in a dedicated spiritual practice as an Arhatic Yogi. During this time Matt learned he has a talent for helping people discover and develop their spiritual gifts.
After arriving in Florida Matt attended Sarasota School of Massage Therapy and graduated top of the class. He pulls the best techniques from multiple modalities to best suite his clients needs. Matt specializes in pain relief, stress reduction, sea salt therapy, and is certified in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. He believes stress is the underlying cause of a vast array of illnesses and managing stress treats the problem at the source. His experience and training allow him to “scan” the body for issues and treat them both physically and energetically.
Matt continues to add new techniques and modalities to increase his ability to facilitate client healing.
Angel Loflin, RYT500, YACEP
Angel’s journey with yoga began at a studio in her hometown near Austin, Texas. The peace, strength and flexibility she found motivated her from the very first class she attended. From that moment yoga has been more than just a one-hour practice on the mat, it has become a lifelong lifestyle.
After moving with her family to Florida in 2016, she jumped right into the study of yoga with both feet, completing her 200-hour and advanced 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Heartwood Yoga Institute and Retreat Center in Bradenton, FL. Angel’s studies in Yoga continue as she is currently enrolled in the two year (2019-2021) 800-hour Yoga Therapy program, recognized and accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT), at Heartwood Institute to continue to advance her teaching skills, bringing a more individualized and therapeutic approach to what she teaches on the mat.
Angel has also completed two intensive training programs in Trauma-Informed Yoga focused on yoga for depression, anxiety and substance abuse recovery. As a survivor of past traumas herself, Angel quickly learned her dharma (life’s purpose) is teaching trauma informed yoga to various populations. She currently teaches a weekly Veterans Yoga class in North Port, FL; weekly In-Patient Recovery and Staff Yoga at Charlotte Behavioral Health Care in Punta Gorda, FL; volunteers once a month to teach Youth Yoga at Coastal Behavioral in Punta Gorda, FL; and Trauma-Informed Yoga at Charlotte County Jail in Punta Gorda, FL.
